Valued Partners
Great American River Journeys spent over two years in the acquisition
and re-introduction of the Columbia Queen. We have also
spent an equal amount of time in developing what we believe to be
one of the truly great American vacation experiences.
There has been a great deal of collaboration and cooperation to
make this happen. Professional organizations, communities which
the Columbia Queen visits, numerous interpretive centers
and museums that share their knowledge and treasures with curious
guests, as well as many others, contribute to making a Columbia
Queen cruise vacation such a remarkable experience. In addition
to these partners, our team of dedicated Historians and Naturalists
escort tours and impart their knowledge each day, both on shore
aboard the vessel. We wish to recognize the following groups and
organizations for their contributions, assistance and support of
the Columbia Queen:
- Oregon Historical Society
- Special Collection Section - Burke Museum of Natural History
and Culture
- City of Portland, OR
- Portland Parks and Recreation Department
- The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower
- Skamania County Chamber of Commerce
- United States Coast Guard
- Corp of Engineers
- Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla
- Glacier Bay Cruiseline
